SE Systems Production worked with the the Greensboro Coliseum to provide a temporary stage roof for the new White Oak Amphitheatre. Their engineers worked closely with SE Systems owner and president Cliff Miller on the installation of staging, stage roof, speaker truss and the audio/lighting for the new outdoor venue. The SE Systems crew was on-site building the stage roof while city workers and contractors worked to finish the venue before the first concert of the season.
On Sunday June 5th, 2011, over 4,000 fans were treated to music by opening act "Sleeping Booty" and headliner "The Beach Boys". The new venue will be hosting other shows all summer and will close the season with "The Avett Brothers" in October.
